The kids wanted to go fishing again so we headed to Joe's to see if we would have any luck. We tried for a while with no luck so Jay decided he would go up and start cooking dinner. Before he left he helped Mason throw is hook out with a worm on it. Mason kept asking me if he could bring it in yet. Finally I told him he could. So he started reeling it back in. He tells me he thinks he has caught something. I didn't really think he had anything, but junk from the bottom. Mason kept trying and wasn't getting it in so Tyler decided he would try and help him. Then Tyler starts telling me he thinks Mason really did catch something. Jay came back and started helping them get it in and there really was a fish on it when they got it out. The funny thing about Mason catching a fish was the way he caught it. Mason's hook was hooked on to someones old line that had broken and the fish had actually gotten tangled up in the old line. Pretty crazy but he was so excited about it.
Mason didn't really like holding the fish for the picture because it was all slimy.
Drake loves to sit and throw rocks into the lake which makes it hard for the boys to catch anything.
Sometimes Elly is such a little tomboy. She is very cute.
Tyler wanted to catch a fish so bad after Mason did. He kept trying and trying. He finally said he was only going to throw it out two more times and then we could go up and eat. The next time he threw it out he caught a fish. He was pretty excited! Elly was sad she hadn't caught a fish so Tyler let her reel his in. She was so happy and it was so nice of him to let her do that. When they got it in he had a little chub on his line.

Elly didn't like holding it at all. She cried the whole time I took the picture and until she had the gross fish washed off of her hands.
Drake didn't like the fish either. He we brought it over to show it to him he got pretty scared.
It was a successful fishing trip. Both of the boys caught a fish and that is what makes it worth it. The kids had a lot of fun even though we weren't up there very long.
