Tyler's baseball game

This year Tyler team was the Bee's.  He moved to the Rookie league this year and they had them pitching to each other.  The first few games were pretty hard to watch because the kids mostly walked to their bases.  Tyler had some good hits this year.
They had him pitch a few times.  It is crazy to me how kids can throw hard until they get in a game.  He did a pretty good job.  It always made me nervous when he was pitching.
He loved playing baseball this year.  I was surprised he never got sick of it.  We would play it almost everyday at home and then he would still want to go hit with Jay when he got home from practices and games.
He looked pretty cute in his uniform too.
Elly and Drake had fun playing in the bed of the truck while we watched the games.
Tyler's favorite place to play in the field was first base or short stop.

Mason's Birthday wish

Last year Mason told me he wanted wings for his birthday.  We talked about it and he decided what he meant was he wanted to fly.  At the time my sister was dating a guy who knew how to fly.  After we talked about it Mason went up to Dalen and asked him if he would take him for a ride in his plane on his birthday.  Dalen was so nice to tell him he would.  That was a big step for Mason to even ask Dalen because most of the time Mason doesn't talk to people.  Mason was so excited about he talked about it for a long time.  When his birthday came this year they picked a day that would be best to take him.  So after Tyler's baptism  he got his ride.
Tyler and Kason were lucky enough to benefit from Mason's wish and they got to go for a ride too.
Mason was very excited.  He got to ride in the front and he wore the head phones so Dalen could talk to him.
Mason's little hand is in the window waving goodbye to us.
The take off!
Off they go!
After the kids got back Jay went for a ride too.  I thought it would be fun for him.  He started to get sick as they were getting ready to land.
This was the view they saw from the plane.
Thanks Dalen for making our little boys wish come true.  He was so excited about it and loved the plane ride.

Tyler's very special 8th Birthday

Tyler turned eight this year.  It is hard to believe our little boy is eight already and accountable now.  Tyler actually got to open one of his birthday presents early because he had a baseball game and Jay wanted him to have it for the game.
He got a baseball bat.
Tyler taking a swing with his new bat.
This cute boy turned eight on a Saturday. We asked him if he would like to be baptized on his birthday and of course he said he did.  It isn't very often you can get baptized on your birthday.  It was a perfect day.
He was baptized and confirmed by Jay on his birthday. Others in the circle for Tyler's confirmation were Lewis Stilson, my dad (David Teichert), Ryan Teichert, Micah Himmerich, Dalen Wilkenson, Dean Stison, Evan Stilson, Wolf Balmono, Grandpa Young and Tyler Jeffs
Tyler has been looking forward to this birthday for along time.  He has watched cousins and an uncle get baptized and has been waiting for it to be his turn.  He was such a good helper with planning who he wanted to give talks and prayers.  Thanks to Ryan and Dean for the talks they gave, Camille and Josie for doing the prayers and Amanda and Melissa for helping with the music.
Tyler is a great example to his brothers and sister.  They look up to him and love doing things with him.  Tyler is a great help to me and Jay.  I love his happy attitude and his cute smile.  I love trying to get a smile out of him because it doesn't take much.  Tyler is a great student and very good at getting his work done without me asking him too.  He is a hard worker and very determined.  He loves playing whatever sport is in season.  He is a great kid.  We love you so much Tyler!  Happy Birthday!
Thanks to all the family who came to support Tyler on this special day.  It meant a lot to him and to us as parents to have you share this special day with us.

Mason's first baseball game in 2012

This year for machine pitch Jay is Mason's coach.  Mason loves baseball and does pretty good.  It is fun to go and watch him play.  They are the Cardinals this year.
He is so cute when he hits the ball.
Since he got the catchers mitt for his birthday we wants to be the catcher in the games.  He does it for two innings and then some of the other kids do it.
He looked so cute in all the catchers gear.  It makes him look even smaller than he already is.
Mason getting ready to head over to second base.
I love watching these kids games they are so cute.

Finally a nice day

We finally had a decent day.  There was no wind and the sun was shinning.  It really wasn't that warm but the kids had a great time jumping on the trampoline.  We put the sprinkler under it for them.  I thought they would only last a few minutes before they were to cold.  I finally had to make them get off.  They had so much fun.  The amazing part was Elly lasted more then a minute.  She stayed on the whole time.  Last year she didn't like it and thought it was to cold.  This year she laughed and never once said she was cold.
Drake would walk up to the trampoline and just stand there so only a little mist would get him.  He has crazy hair from the water and sunblock being rubbed in his hair.
The boys of course could jump for hours.  They had so many tricks to show me and different games they came up with to play.
As always when the camera is out Elly has to come over and have some weird pictures taken.  Quit the scary face she can pull.
She can do some cute ones too.
It was nice to have a beautiful day while the kids were home to enjoy it.

Best Friends

I am so luck and so are my kids to have such good best friends.  My really good friend has three kids the same ages as my three younger ones.  It is so fun and nice for them.  Our two older kids have become such good friends and our babies don't really have a choice.  They will probably become good friends just like the others have.  It is nice to know they have a friend that this a good kid.
They all have so much fun together.  It is cute to listen to them when they are playing and hear them laughing together.
Drake already gets excited when he sees Austin.  He loves to be close to him.
It is also nice that Tyler plays well with Mason and Joey so he doesn't feel completely left out.  The only bad thing is that they don't have one Tyler's age,  that would have been perfect.  Three out of four isn't bad though.    It is so nice to have good friends!  We love these cute kids!  I hope they are always really good friends.

He is so cute!

I think this little boy is so cute! I wish I could just keep him at this age forever.  He is so fun and happy.  He can make a mess about as fast as Elly and is really good at throwing a fit when he doesn't get what he wants, but he is just so stinking cute.  When he see someone pick up their phone or a camera he starts saying cheese until you want him to and then it is very hard to get him to say it again.  He loves putting hats on his head even though they only stay on for a minute.
I love those pretty blue eyes, his two little teeth and his cute little dimple.
I love the funny faces he pulls and his cute laugh.
I love this little guy!  He is so much fun and so full of energy.
He loves to put Elly's headbands on.
He is a lot of fun.  The kids love playing with him and it is pretty funny to watch him try and do some of the funny things he sees them do.  It is a fun stage, but also a very tiring stage.
