Elly

Elly is always getting into my cupboard and getting this strainer.  I don't know why but she loves to put it on her head and walk around the house.  I never use it so it might as well be a hat.
She is a little crazy.

Waking up is hard to do

Some mornings it is really hard to wake up.  This morning we had woke up and made the bed and picked Mason up off the floor and put him on the bed and he just kept sleeping.
When he finally decided to wake up it took him awhile to be happy.
The best thing about Mason when he wakes up is his nice hair.
He is so cute when he wants to be.

My big helper

The last week we have been painting like crazy and since the kids wanted to help I decided that helping with the primer would be the best part they could help with.  Since Elly was sleeping when we decided to start painting Mason had to just strip down to his underwear to help me.
He loved helping me and kept saying, "Mom, painting is so much fun"  and "Mom painting is such hard work."  I thought he would last longer than he did, but he still lasted about thirty minutes.
He kept getting paint on his hands and then he would touch his face to he ended up with a lot of paint on his face and in his hair, but he had so much fun.  It was fun to listen to him talking while he was painting.
Tyler helped me do some of the priming to but I never did get a picture of him.  He was better at it then Mason was but  he didn't last as long.  They both were so glad I let them help me and since there was no carpet in the rooms it didn't matter if they dripped the paint.

Extra protection

The other day when we were going to town the boys both got in their seats and put their helmets on.  It just looked funny like we are these crazy parents that think we need to have extra protection to keep our kids safe.

My best day EVER

Yesturday my friend and I went to see one of my favorite authors.  It was really fun to listen to hear tell about the books, ideas and about her life.  We listened to her for almost two hours and then she signed books for us and read some parts out of some of her books.  It was really fun.

Prayers

The other morning Tyler asked if he could say the breakfast blessing so I told him he could.  It was a normal prayer until the end when Tyler said, "Please bless me that I will be a good hunter when I grow up."
It was pretty cute.

Sunday naps

Mason was so tired that he feel asleep on the stairs.  He looked so cute.
I love that little boy.

Mason was mad at me for some reason so he was pouting on the stairs and that was when he feel asleep.

Don't you love...

Don't you love the way little kids sleep?  I have pictures of me sleeping this way when I was little.  Sometimes I still do if I don't feel good.  She just looked so cute we had to have a picture.

...a girl

This is one of the fun things that you get to do with a girl that you can't do to your little boys.
I love little baby feet and hands.  The paint is really dark, but I couldn't find my light ones.  She was so good to just sit there and let me do it.

playing outside

Here are just some radom pictures of the kids playing outside.
It is so funny to watch Elly on this tractor because she doesn't sit on it she just stand and walks with it.
Tyler and his bike.  I am surprised that he is okay on it because it is a little big for him, but he loves it and you have to love the gloves he is wearing.

Mason is so funny.  He is always pulling funny faces at me and just acting goofy.
My nephew came to play and the kids just loved it.  Mason was so good to push him around.  I was able to get some cute little pictures of him.
Elly loves walking under the lilacs.  She thinks she is such a big kid lately.
So that is what we do on a reagular day, minus the tending of my nephew.  It has been nice to let the kids outside for the brief moments that have been nice.  They are ready to be outside all the time.

Mason's swimming

Friday was Mason's last day of swimming lessons.  This was his second round of them.  He has loved it and can actually stand the cold water the whole hour lesson now, that's a big step for him.
He can swim acrossed the pool without help.
He is almost there.
Jumping off the diving board...
and swimming back without any help.
He loved it and is excited to take lessons again in June.
Swimming lessons for Mason has been hard on Elly and me because she wants to get in the whole time.  The last day I let her kind of wander around and you can bet she was going to test it and see how close I would let her get.
She just looks so cute and innocent.
She came home very wet, but she loved it.  One day we will take her up and let her get in.

Our kids

I am pretty mad about Kiddie Kandids because it is that time of year where I always go up and have them take my kids pictures.  I loved them and now they are gone and I haven't found somebody to take them for me so I had to just take them myself.
I have always loved the pictures of Tyler that are close to his face.
Tyler thought he was smiling so I had to get a picture to show him that he wasn't.
My little Mason's poor eye was bugging him so I will probably have to do them again but I just wanted to get some pictures close to their birthdays.
I really like these of Mason because they remind me of they way he really his so much.
Elly never would look even close to me so her pictures aren't that great but I wasn't really planning on taking any of her so I guess they are just a bonus.
My three little ones.
Tyler should be my easiest one but sometimes he is the hardest one to get to pay attention and just look at me.  You have to love the way Mason does his smile, it isn't forced at all.
This one is probably the best one I got so I am going to have to head out one of these days and try again.  Anyone who has suggestions they are more then welcome.
