Halloween

These are my little trick-or-treaters this year. They sure are a cute little bunch.  The told me they like trick-or -treating in wyoming better than here.  We might have to try and make it up there next year for them.
It was no surprise that my boys wanted to be football players this year.  Mason was the Chicago Bears.
Tyler was the Denver Broncos.  The nice thing was I did't have to buy a costume for them since we already had all the stuff.
Elly was our little skunk.  This is always a favorite costume.  She won an award at our ward Halloween party.  I should have painted her face up higher so her forehead didn't show.  She still looked pretty cute.
Drake was a lion.  I was surprised how much Drake ended up liking trick-or-treating.  It took him a couple of houses before he figured out what to do.  He wanted to eat the piece of candy after each house.  He pretty much did too.
The kids had fun and it was a perfect night for trick-or-treating.

Carving pumpkins

Each year the kid pick out a pumpkin and the design they want carved into it.
When we carve pumpkins you have to take shirts off or they get all dirty.  Drake was pretty excited about cleaning out the pumpkins.
All the kids were really good to help clean their pumpkin out but Mason.  He hates the feel of it.  Tyler always ends up cleaning his out for him.
Mason's face should tell you how much he loved it.
This year I let Tyler carve his own.  He did a really good job.  I was glad he sat there and finished since I had three others to do.
Elly sat and watched the whole time I did hers and she liked picking the cut pieces out.
Our finished pumpkins.  We had a wolf howling, ghost with Boo in it, a cat, and a monster.
Each of our kids with their pumpkin.
He is just so cute!
Their pumpkins all done and glowing.

Corn Maze

I have been wanting to take the kid to a corn maze for a couple of years.  We finally got it done this year.  The kids loved it.  They had different things you had to find in the maze.  The boys loved it and were really good at finding all the things.
The kids getting ready to go in.
They also had a murder mystery we solved while we were in the maze.
After we finished the big maze the kids went and did the kid maze on their own.  It was a race to the finish.
Elly and Drake coming out.
The kids went for a ride in these cute little trailers.
I don't know why the boys wanted to ride together but they did.  There were more seats so they could have ridden separate.
After the kids wanted to go and pick out their own pumpkins.  Elly and Drake took the chance to get a ride in the wagon.
They had this cute little place to get a picture taken.  Jay and I did it and Tyler and Elly.  Mason wouldn't do it.
The boys liked this part.  They would put corn down that thing and shoot it out a a old jeep.
This part was really fun.  Jay and I had a race against the kid.  You had to get all the ducks on the other teams water trough.  Jay and I won but the kids will say they did.  We spent probably thirty minutes here. We loved this part.
While Jay was weighting  the pumpkins the kid played on this little playground they had there.
Drake loved the slides and threw a fit when it was time to go.
After we went and saw my sister, Brittny's new baby.  Elly was so excited to hold her.  The rest of us only got to hold her for a second because Elly and Drake held her the whole time.
She is a baby lover and would hold them all day if she could.  Brittny's baby's name is Danika.
We had a fun time spending a saturday together and not being in a big rush to get anywhere.

Flag Football playoffs

Flag football finished up with the playoff going for two nights.  We made it past the first night with one and one.  The kids played really good and almost won both of their games.
My kids had a fun time and loved having their Dad be their coach.

This was our team this year. Tyler and the two girls were our third graders, then we had two second graders and the four boys on the bottom left were our first graders.  I was surprised we did as good as we did.  We ended up taking four place.
Mason was glad he got to play this year.  He loved it.  He really liked to pull faces at the camera when we would go past.  What a funny boy.  Tyler played really well this year.  Jay was always telling me how good he though Tyler was.

Princess Birthday party

Elly's best friend had a princess birthday party.  Elly has been so excited about it.  She got to wear this pretty dress my friend gave to her.
We did her hair up like a princess.  She loved it.  She had a great time at the birthday party.  They got to paint the on the walls like she does on Tangled.  Elly love the cake Ava's mom made too!

A beautiful fall day!

We have had a beautiful fall here.  The weather has been way to warm for this time of year, but the kids have enjoyed it.  Over the conference weekend Elly learned to ride her bike without training wheels.  I was so surprised!  I didn't think she would be able to do it so I wasn't even going to try until next year, but her training wheels kept coming loose so I asked her if she wanted to learn to ride her bike.  So wanted to and just took off on it.  I think we spent maybe two hours with her and she had it down.  I couldn't believe it.  She taught herself how to start without help the next day.  She has spent every minute out ridding her bike since she learned.  So Drake and I have been spending more time outside too. Here are some pictures from one of those days.
Drake loves this hat of Elly's and loves wearing her cowboy boots.
He was pouting over something but he just looked so cute I had to take a picture of him.
Elly had to show us how to do cartwheels while we were out there to so we got pictures of that.

Our cute house this fall!
Elly showing me how she can start all by herself.  Awesome!!
The nice thing was even when she crashes she just gets back up and never cried.
Drake love this car. Since most of the time there is no one to push him he just pushes it.  When there is someone to push him he loves that too. This was one of our best purchases ever.
Cute little Elly!
The kids having a little demolition derby.
Elly even had to show us she can ride of the curb without crashing!  She was very excited about that.
Thanks to the nice weather she has really gotten a lot of practice.
