Gymnastics

Today was the boys last day of gymnastics for the summer.  The boys loved it and want to do it again, but I think we will hold of on that for awhile so that we can just enjoy what little summer we have left.  I am excited to be done with all that kind of running around, but now it is time for all the reunions to start so now we get to start doing that but I don't mind that so much.  I wish that I would have taken some pictures of the boys but I never did so just imagine a class of all boys running around have a lot of fun and you pretty much get the picture.  They got to do it with their cousins and some of there friends so that made it more fun for them.

My sweet boy

Tuesday morning I was laying in bed waiting for the kids to wake up and pretty soon I hear Tyler talking to Elly.  Mason had come into sleep on the floor during the night.  I was waiting for those two to come in and see me like they do every morning but they never came and never came so I got up to see what they were doing.
Elly had soaked through her pj's during the night so when Tyler got her out of bed he decided to take her pj's off and get her changed.  By the time I went in there he had changed her diaper and was trying to get her dressed.  It was really cute.  I was surprised that he did such a good job with the diaper.  He was so proud of himself.  He had her outfit picked out that he wanted her to wear and it even matched.
I thought that it was pretty sweet of him to do that for me.

Camping

We went camping with some cousins last weekend and the kids had a blast.  We only saw Tyler when it was time to eat.  He was to busy playing with all the boys his age.  Mason didn't have any boys his age so we saw more of him.  He still spent sometime running around with the boys though.  The boys had so much fun shooting the BB guns, climbing all the hills, riding the 4-wheelers, playing baseball and just having fun in the mountains.
I didn't think Elly would be to fun camping this year, but she did really good.  She loved being outside all day and you couldn't go on a 4-wheeler ride without taking her.  She loved just sitting on them with the other girls.
Here are some pictures from the weekend.
Elly lovessunglasses.  I love this chubby face.
When Jay and Mason were gone on a ride Tyler and I climbed up this hill to see what was on the other side of it.
While we were up there some of the kids came up to meet us, Mason had gotten back from his ride so he came up too.
Tyler was cutting with this pocket knife and ofcourse he ended up cutting his hand.  I was surprised that he didn't cry about it.
Mason was wanting to play catch most of the time.
Mason's cousin was so nice to take him out shooting the BB gun.
My dirty little girl.
Mason and a little friend playing with the toys.
Tyler roasting some marshmellows.
Mason ate a whole bag of marshmellows while we were gone.  He won't eat them if they are roasted and he wouldn't eat the cookie with them they both had to be eaten alone.
What a cute dirty little face.
Elly loves kissing her brothers.  She gives Mason the most kisses though.
Some of the kids that were camping with us.  We had so much fun.  It was nice to get home and get cleaned up though.

Visiting family

We got to go and visit my family a couple of weeks ago.  It was so fun to see them because we haven't seen them since February.  It was also nice because Jay let us come back on monday instead of sunday so we got to spend an extra day with them.  My sisters family moved back there so it was fun to see them and their very cute new little baby.
We spent the time just visiting and playing games, which is what I love to do.  Jay and my brother in law went looking for animals so they had a good time, I am guessing.
The kids had so much fun with there cousins and aunts and uncles.  They love seeing the animals and having the whole hill side to play on.
Elly loved the horses and kept walking over to the fence to see them.  She loved it when we went out to help feed them.
Sunday after church and dinner the boys wanted everyone to come out and play 21 with them.  It was fun for me to see Jay play with them.  I am always worried that he is bored when we are there, but he seemed to have fun.  The boys all got in on some dunking action.
This is my brother Tenor.
This is my brother Brock.
Tyler and Mason loved it when Jay would make a basket and then let them shoot for him.

They were even able to get my Dad out to play with them.  I was the picture taker instead of playing with them and I had to keep Elly out of there way.

She didn't like it that she couldn't be in the pen with the horses.

Mason liked playing basketball with them but then he found this pile of rocks and decided that it was pretty fun so he camped out here for a while playing with them.

Elly loves dogs so she was pretty excited when Tenor brought his dog to where she could play with it.  It kept trying to lick her face.  It kind of made her nervous until I said, "He's licking you."  Then she decided that she should do it to him.  Just as she went to lick him he licked her too.  It was about the grosest thing I have seen.

Some of the horses that Elly just loved.  The boys like to ride on them when they can too.

Mason had fun with his cousin when they got up to the house.  Don't they just look like trouble?

Elly and her cousin were pretty cute to watch play.  They would just follow each other all over the place and they didn't care how cold it was they wanted to stay outside the whole time.  When we did bring them in their hands and faces were so cold, but they didn't even care.

My dad took the kids up to see the baby chickens and he helped them hold them.  Elly loved the chickens but wasn't to sure about it when Grandpa tried to get her to hold it.

Mason loved it and wasn't scared at all.  Elly dared to get closer when Mason was holding the chicken.

Tyler also held one but he was up there when Jay had come back to the house with the camera.
It was a great weekend and the kids had so much fun playing with everyone.

While we were at church yesturday Tyler was sitting there so nicely just writting on a peice of paper.  When I got home and was cleaning out the bag from church this is what I found he had written on the paper.

I am at church being reverant.
I want to be nice to my mom and Dad.
I like to be nice to my brother.
I want to be nice.
I want to be good.

I thought it was so cute.  It was nice to know that he wants to be nice.  I wish that he was nice all the time.  He is a pretty good brother though and son.

17 months

Elly has gotten so big and she is starting to act more and more like a big kid.  She is so much fun to have around.  She can mean but if one of her brothers is crying she is the first one there to give them a hug and a kiss.
We just love those cute chubby checks, arms and legs.  She is so fun most days.

Is there a kid that doesn't?

My boys have always loved the beaters and it has always worked out nice since there are two boys and two beaters, but now we have a problem.   Elly loves the beaters now too.  Hopefully she will be willing to share with one of the boys.
She is not as good at getting it in her mouth as the boys are, more of it ends up on her face then in her mouth.  So my question is is there a kid out there that doesn't like the beaters?  Right now I am three for three.

Random play day

These two boys are so fun to watch play when they are playing nice.  Mason died so Tyler was coming over to see him.
They love to go out hunting around the house.
Off they go to hunt for something.
Elly loves to play outside and she wants to be out all day.
She was so sad because she wants someone to push her the whole time and the boys only would do it for a few minutes.
