Tatton and trains!

Tatton loves the train set.  He will have me help him build it and then sit and play with it for hours.  The nice thing is it will stay up for days so I don't have to keep building it over and over. If he breaks it he will stop and fix it.  I bought this set when Tyler and Mason were little boys and just add on to it for birthdays and Christmases for a couple years.  It has been one of my kids favorite toys.

Lot of hours have been spent playing trains.  The nice thing about the carpet at this house is it is good for playing trains on.

Elly’s 12th birthday!

We were supposed to be on our ski trip for Elly's birthday but since that didn't happen her birthday was pretty lame.  Her present that we ordered clear back in November still wasn't here in time but she had a couple smaller presents to open.
Its crazy that she is 12 now!  Elly has grown up way to fast.  Elly is busy with sports and good at them.  She is in the 6th grade this year which is junior high here and she is doing so good.

Elly's present finally got here a few days after he birthday.  She was pretty excited about it.  She always gets mad that the boys get all the fun toys so Jay got her a RC car like what the boys have.  The little boys were as excited about it as she was.

They got it charged and headed out to drive it.

Quarantined!

We had a ski trip all planed and paid for when Tyler had to get tested for dumb COVID and it came back positive. So we had to cancel our ski passes and back out of our cabin.  The kids were all mad and wanted to just leave Tyler home.  The only thing he had and ended up having was he lost his taste and smell.  With nothing to do we went sledding one morning and took the kids up Huntington canyon to the run in the afternoon.  We ended up being pretty lucky that he only had to quarantine until the day the kids went back to school from Christmas break, so no missed days.

Hiking up this hill was a killer for the little kids but the ride down was great!

Fun times with these kids!  The blue truck got stuck out here in about three inches of snow so we spent some time getting it out.  Other than that it was fun.

Later that day when Dad was done with the cable guy at the house we went up Huntington canyon to the run and let the kids go down it.  This was the closest we could get to letting them ski over the Christmas break.  Nobody was up there so we had the whole thing to our selves.

Mason and Drake

Elly and Tyler

The kids said it was easy so I decided to take Kenyan down.  The trail down wasn't bad but the hill hadn't been groomed so he had a hard time on the bottom part and didn't want to do it again.

I took Tatton in my arms the next couple times and he loved it.
There was a jump near the bottom the kids were hitting.  One of the times down we watch Tyler eat it hard.  Tatton had to go get his poles for him since he threw them when he was in the air.  We laughed and laughed at him.  He did hit really hard but once we knew he was okay we couldn't stop laughing.

One night while quarantined the boys got sucked into playing with Kenyan and his tiles.  They built some pretty fun stuff but decided we need more tiles.

Kenyan and Tatton love these tiles and have played with them pretty much everyday. The bad thing is they always take over the little bit of cupboard space that I have.

Halloween parties!

The kids had class parties today and the parade to show off their costumes.
Drake’s 2nd grade class

Elly’s 4th grade class.

Drake trying to get some gum out of whip cream with some vampire teeth.

Drake in the parade!

Elly is helping with kindergarten kids in the parade.

Both kids loved their parties and were ready to go out and get candy after school.

Halloween!!

I had some pretty cute little trick or treaters this year!! My cute little guy was the cutest pumpkin. Tatton was so happy the whole time, even when it got cold.

Drake was Tom Brady and Elly a belly dancer. I think they are pretty cute too.

Drake went trick or treating with some friends. Elly stayed to go with Kenyan. We started early so it would be warm for some of it.

We decided to us the four wheeler and trailer this year so the kids could get in and out easier and we could go faster.

Kenyan loved riding on the trailer. He didn’t know if he liked trick or treating at first because the first couple houses no one was home and they “never get any candy.”  Once they started getting candy he really liked it.

I rode in the trailer with Tatton for a while.

The kids loving their ride!

After we had finished trick or treating we had one more stop. Great grandma Stilson always loves to see the kids on Halloween. We only had the four little ones with us since the two older ones were with friends.

I wanted one picture with the little kids but Kenyan was done with it so Jay had to help him out a little.

Elly loved her lashes!  She loved how here costume jingled whenever she moved.

Drake loves football as much as the rest of us.

Tatton my little cutie!

Kenyan and his cute smile and big eyes!

Mason was brawl boy!  When we go wrestle at the beehive brawl there is a boy who walks around dressed like this shooting shirts out to the crowd. Mason and two of his friends dressed up like mason.

Mason went with friends to a party and did some trick or treating with them. Then went back and hung out and ate all their candy.

It was another successful Halloween! The kids had lots of fun and got lots of candy.
Tyler went with friends and ended up doing some trick or treating too.

Elly’s rec volleyball

Elly got to play volleyball this year and she loved it. These girls improved so much this year and I think they had a lot of fun together.

Tatum Jensen, Lainey Monsen, Annie Johanson, Kylie,
Zoey Perez, Hailee Barnett and Elly.

I got to be Ellys coach this year. It was fun working with these girls and trying to help them get better and love the game!
I think we only lost one game this season so not to bad for these girls.
