Mason's last baseball game

This was ended up being Mason's last baseball game.  They were suppose to have one more game but the team canceled it the day of the game.  Mason loved it.  It was nice to have Jay be his coach too.  I thought it was fun for him and he seemed to really like it.  So here are just some pictures from the game.
Mason after he made it home.
Mason playing short stop.
Coming in to get ready to hit.
Up to bat
Jay getting ready to haul Mason out to be catcher so he didn't have to try and run in all the gear.
Saying good game to the other team
The kids had a great time playing and they improved so much.

Helicopters

We kept seeing these helicopters all around our area for a few days.  We learned they were doing a training in the mountains and on the desert.  We took the kids up to see them.
They had a guy there that told us all kinds of cool stuff about them, of course I can't remember any of it now.
The kids thought they were pretty cool.
The one thing I do remember is these helicopters can carry one of these hummers.  They were bringing one with a helicopter but we didn't see it.
While we were there the helicopter landed and they got someone out who looked like they had an IV hooked to them.  Then the helicopter took off again.  That was pretty cool!

Look what we found!!

The kid had been outside playing and had decided to come in.  I heard a little scream and say Mason jump up the steps funny.  When he got in the house he says "Mom you got to come see this."  When I looked out I couldn't believe it.  There was a snake making its way across my yard.  We have been here for five years and I have never seen one of those in our yard.  I know they are harmless but I hate snakes.  Mason said it came from by the sandbox.
It was actually pretty long I thought.
The kids all thought it was pretty cool.

Time Out

Today after church Elly was having one of those days.  She finally ended up sitting in Time Out.  After she finally stopped crying I went to talk to her.  She had fallen fast asleep.
Sometimes it is nice when they will just fall asleep so it can be peaceful, but then are they really learning their lesson?

Fishing

We went fishing on free fish day with Jay's brother, Dean and his family.  Jay caught three or four fish.  I think that was all we caught that day.  We didn't bring the kids fishing poles so they weren't very happy about that, but they still had fun throwing rocks in and seeing who could make the biggest splash.
Drake didn't like the fish when we showed it to him.
Jay with one of the fish he caught.
Elly's favorite part of going fishing was playing with Autumns cat.
The boys all wanted to get in on the cleaning of the fish.
After we went back to Dean and Charity's and had a BBQ.

Football

I have another project the kids have really been wanting me to get done.  I finally found the numbers to put on their uniforms.  The boys both pick what number they wanted for their two jerseys.  They both were really glad I finally got that done for them.
Mason wanted 25 for his Green Bay Packers jersey and 9 for his saints.
Tyler wanted 15 for his Denver Broncos and 6 for his Chicago Bears.
Drake can't resist putting any kind of helmet on his head so he loved having all of them out.
Elly even wanted in on the football action.
Luck for us we have enough uniforms and helmets for all the kids to wear one.
I don't know if they could be any cuter.

Tyler's Baseball Team

This was Tyler's baseball team this year.  I think they ended up only losing two games all season.
Tyler, Tylee, Josh, Brayden, Logan, Gavin,
Shawn, Carter, Kason and Gannon.
Tyler loved baseball and is hoping they ask him to play on the All-star team this year.  Baseball is his favorite sport he told me.  He loved pitching, but first base, second base and short stop where his favorite.

Memorial weekend

We went camping memorial weekend with a couple of friends and had a lot of fun.  There were plenty of kids for everyone to play with.  There were also plenty of pot guts to shoot.  The boys had fun going around with their BB guns trying to find them.
Jay got this guy and let the kids finish him off.  They thought that was pretty fun.
The kids had lots of fun playing together.  It was cold the first two days but the last day was really nice.
My friend, Amanda and her family came up Sunday for dinner.  My kids were so excited to have them come and play.  The girls loved the swing.
Pretty cute little friends.
Together they can be big trouble.  I don't know why my kids always have to be the dirtiest kids when we camp, but they always are.
I don't know what happened here I was busy making dinner when Jay asked me if I had seen what Elly did.  I was surprised we were able to get her clean.
The nice part was when they took their naps.
I noticed I didn't have many pictures of Mason while we were camping and I think it was because he was always off doing something that wasn't right where we were.
The mighty Hunters!
Returning from their hunt.
Drake loved being able to wonder everywhere and get as dirty as he could.
The last day we were there the kids all went for a hike up to these rocks.  It is kind of hard to see them but they are on top of the highest rocks.
While the older kids were gone hiking Pam blew bubbles with the younger kids.
All the kids that were on the hike.  It apparently got hot because they had to take their shirts off.  We all had fun.  I think we need to do it again.  The kids loved having so many kids to play with.
