Tyler hunting

Tyler has gone out hunting with Jay every chance he has got this fall.  He is really starting to love it.  I think he really likes the time he gets with his dad, why else would anyone love to get up that early?  He had a lot of fun and was sure ready to sleep each night.
This was on the cow elk hunt.  Jay's dad actually shot this one.

Girl Time

Elly and me had some girl time. She has been wanting me to put some fake nails on her.  We finally made the time while the boys were gone to school one day and Drake was down for a nap.  They sure turned out cute.  She loved them.  This was something that is very much her kind of thing.
She showed everyone them.  I was surprised she actually kept them on for a couple of days before she started pulling them off.  I did look kind of funny seeing her little hands with those long flashy nails on them.
It was fun to spend time with her doing what she wanted to do.  You can never regret those times.
She was so excited about them we had to take a picture and send it to Dad at work.  He loved it.

Tea Party

I walked in the bedroom the other day to see what was happening because I could hear Elly and Drake laughing and her talking to him.  I found they were having a tea party.  They had found her tea set and made their own table and chairs. It was pretty cute.  Drake is a good brother to just do whatever his sister tells him to.  It will be interesting to see how long that lasts.
They were so cute and had a lot of fun.  They sat there for a while.
It is nice when they play good together.  It sure makes my day a lot nicer.

Elly loves the babies!

Elly has been so excited to hold all the new babies that are going to be born in my family.  My sister had here baby up at my parents house one weekend while we were there.  Elly wanted to hold her all the time.
Drake is even getting in on the fun!  Elly was so excited when Zoe got out of the hospital because she wanted to hold her so bad.

Homecoming in Cokeville 2012

We came up the night before the homecoming game because the kids love to be their to paint their names on the street, watch them light the C and see the bonfire.  The kids had a lot of fun with their cousins, aunts and uncles.  The kids love getting their faces painted too.
The kids that were by us for the parade.  They sure are excited about it!
Tyler really liked his face paint.
Drake with his cool face paint!
We took my niece with us so she could play with the girls on my side.
The kids watching the parade.
A bunch of the grand kids hung out under the umbrella to watch the game.
Drake fell asleep during the game.  He looked so cute.

After the game the little boys ran out to talk to Brock about the game.  He is a nice uncle to them and they love him.
The football team won their game.  It was fun to get to watch my brother play.

Family pictures

I did our family pictures this year again.  I took the kids out one day and did all their individual pictures and the kids together pictures.  Then on another day we went out as a family and did just family pictures and Jay and I.  It seemed to work better for us that way.  So these are some of what we got. I think they turned out pretty good.

Fishing at Mamoth

We decided this afternoon to take the kids fishing.  Tyler has been asking to go for awhile.  We loaded up our stuff and food to eat and headed to Mammoth.  The kids were really excited.  Tyler had got a new pole so they had to get it all ready.
Drake loves eating the chips and playing in the dirt.
Elly and Drake where really good to entertain themselves.
While the boys were waiting for a bite you could see all kinds of fish jumping.  They were out to far and our lines kept getting caught in all the moss.
It was a beautiful evening!
Jay grilled hot dogs for us.  Mason was starving and needed something more before the hot dogs were ready.
Tyler tried and tried to catch a fish but never had any luck.
Jay threw his line out a few times but go sick of only catching moss so he stopped.
Mason and Elly wanted to see the fish jumping so they were standing there so nice just waiting to see something.  They finally did see some fish jump.
Mason is a very impatient fisherman.  He doesn't like to sit and wait for something to bite.  He wants to throw it out and reel it in over and over.
The four crazy kids we took fishing.  They sure had dirty faces by the end of the night.  We really had a fun time even though we didn't catch anything.
