Today the boys wrestled in Heber City. We had to leave by five-thirty so we could get there on time. Mason's age was up first. On the way there Mason made himself so sick just thinking about wrestling. He was white as a ghost and so nervous. He ended up having Jay give him a blessing to help calm him down. He lost the first two matches. He wasn't wrestling like he can because he was so scared he wouldn't win. The next one he won and wrestled a little better. When it was time for the last match he realized he could do it and it didn't really matter. He went out and pinned the kid in less then twenty seconds. Crazy boy! It was fun to watch him. I wish he wouldn't have made himself so nervous though.
He wants me right by the mat to watch him. It is cute. I wonder how long that will last. He ended up taking third place.
Jay was so excited to see Bronco Mendenhall there. He had a son wrestling in the group older then Tyler, but on the same mat Tyler was on. We had to get a picture of him so everyone could see.
Tyler is a good wrestler. He ended up taking third place also. He is pretty strong for his age and a pretty smart wrestler. He lost two matches and won two this weekend. He pinned one of his kids. He never got pinned so that was good. He starts to panick when he gets on bottom. This has been good experience for these boys. They are starting to learn moves and are getting better all the time.
The boys are having fun wrestling this year. I really like the boys they wrestle with too
