Labor Day Camping trip (by Mammoth)

We haven't  got to do much camping this year because of baseball, basketball, weights and football.  We were finally able to get away for the weekend and go.  We did leave one afternoon to run to Salt Lake and watch a Bees game that we have had tickets to.  We took our trailer up a few days earlier since we knew it was going to be few crazy days all the way up until we were up there.
We went up Thursday after Tyler's football game. We decided to let the kids skip school Friday so we could spend more time camping this weekend.
The boys went out hunting early Friday morning while I stayed with the four little kids.  While they were gone Elly and Drake worked on their fort they were building.  Kenyan pushed his trucks around and I held cute Tatton while I watched the kids play and work.
When the boys got back they decided to shoot the BB guns at pop cans.  They were pretty funny and had us laughing at how ridiculous they were.
Kenyan loves riding on the four wheeler and is going to go on every ride whether they like it or not.
The boys don't always love taking Kenyan on rides with them but they are pretty good to still take him with them.  The roads and trails were so dusty because everyone from up north was on the mountain riding up and down the roads all day and most of the night.
I get to hang out with Kenyan most of the time when we go camping since the boys are out hunting most of the time.
Mason, Ryker and Tyler were pretty filthy after their ride!
We played some games while we were gone.  The kids thought headbands was pretty funny!  It looks easier than it is.
Just the adults were playing until the kids were laughing at us and we had them try it.
Trigg, Beau and Drake eating dinner in the fort!
These girls, Elly and Kaley, had to much fun with Tatton.
Kenyan always thinks he is big enough to hold Tatton and that Tatton likes it.  He is luck Tatton is such a good baby a tolerates it so well.
Kenyan loved having Bryce there to play with.  These two boys were so dirty every day.  They loved pushing their trucks around in the dirt and pretty much rolling in the dirt.
Elly had fun having some girls with us this camping trip.  We most of the time go camping by our selves but this time we went with five other families.  Elly made us brownies one of the days we were up there.
Kenyan is always right there to help me cook even when we are camping he still wants to stir everything and help me out.  We even had Tatton right there helping us.
It was fun to listen to all these boys stories when they got back from going out looking for deer each time.  The dads even had to laugh at some of the stuff they told us and set somethings straight.
When the boys got back from hunting Saturday morning the pulled into camp with six sheep dog puppies.  Mason and Wade had found them down in the bottom of a pretty deep canyon with no mom around and a dead puppy with them.  They said their was a leg of what looked like the mom by them but they weren't sure.  The kids had the best day playing with those puppies while the dads tried to find a sheep camp that was missing puppies.  They never did find anyone who was missing them.  They all found a home the next day.
While the big boys were gone hunting the younger boys were having fun shooting the BB guns, bows and running all over the mountain.
Elly was so good to help with Tatton.  He loved swinging in the hammock.
So we had to laugh at the boys faces every time they went on a ride they came back so dirty.
They were covered in dirt.  It was in their teeth and everything.  They didn't seem to mind because they kept going on rides and coming back dirty.
Tyler, Ryker Jensen, Wade and Luke Stilson and Mason.
One of the times when the boys and dads were all out looking for deer Jay came back with a coyote.
As we were heading home we stopped because Jay, Mason, Elly and Drake were going to go hunting and I was going to just wait for them to come back to the trailer.  When we stopped we found out the truck had a flat tire.  So Jay got it off and fixed.  Then while they were gone I was going to run into town and fill it with air and come back up so he could put it on when they got back.
When we were getting kids ready to go we found Mason had fallen asleep and had a bad headache so we just decided to all go in and get the tire filled and nobody go out hunting.  Tyler had gone into football practice earlier so he wasn't with us.
Kenyan was such a filthy mess he had to ride in the suburban in his underwear.  We had our suburban up with us two since we had gone to the Bees game Friday and didn't want to drive all the way home and drop it off.  So we were pretty lucky we had it to run us into town to get the truck tire filled up.
We finally got the tired back on and headed home a few hours later than we had planned.
Oh the fun memories we make.  The kids weren't bothered by the flat tire at all.  They just unloaded their bikes and were riding them around having fun.
