24th of July

For the 24th we went to Wyoming.  The kids rode their bikes to the parade and had fun waving to the people, of course their favorite part was the candy and being with their cousins.

Elly loved waving almost more then the candy.
The kids had fun playing with their cousins all day.  The boys went for a horse ride.  We got to watch my brother ride in the rodeo.  He stayed on and tied for second but I think he should have won. Later that night we watched fireworks.  The kids had a great time.
Jay went home that Monday. The kids and I stayed with my sister because we were going camping with my family on Wednesday.  Monday my sisters took the kids for a horse ride.  It was the first time Elly wanted to ride and surprisingly she didn't even cry.  She loved it this time.  The boys always want to go for a ride when we go to grandma and Grandpa's house.

Hot days

One even, about 8:30, the kids were complaining that it was too hot, so we decided to put the sprinkler under the trampoline and let them jump.  They boys loved it.  Elly thought it sounded fun and was very excited...

until she got on the trampoline.  She didn't like it at all.  She might have liked it better without the boys on with her.
She tried to like it again when she saw how much fun the boys were having, but ended up crying right after she got on.
The boys had lots of fun tricks to show me.
Elly decided she liked watching the boys a lot more then actually jumping withe them.

They love to run under the trampoline and try and sit on the sprinkler.

I love this picture of Tyler trying to show me his muscles.  They are just so big and he is so serious.

They had a lot of fun.  I was surprised they stayed out and played in the sprinkler until it was almost dark.

Four months old

My little boy is four months old already.  The time has flown my.  He is getting so big.  I think he is my chubbiest baby, but it has been a while since the others were this size.  They were all probably pretty close in size.  It may not look like it but his hair is coming back.  I buzzed him once all over his head and them one other time just on the top because it was the only part growing.  It is coming in pretty good now, since it is light it is hard to see.
He is a happy little guy though, which makes it nice for me.  People are always telling me he is a smiley baby and he is.

I love this face he is pulling.  He is just so cute.

I love this little guy so much.  I am loving having him.

Family Campout

We took our kids camping one weekend, just our little family.  We have never gone just us and it was pretty fun.  The kids loved it and were mad when it was time to come home.  They had lots of fun playing in the water.  The water was still running everywhere so there were lots of places where it was really shallow.  The kids had fun running around in the water.
The nice part about it being so shallow was Elly was able to play in it with out me having to worry about her.
The boys splashed mud all over her face.  It is kind of hard to tell what is on her face but that is what it is.
Tyler taking Mason with him to do some exploring.

Elly fell once so then she thought she was going to fall every time the water got past her ankles.
 Tyler dunking.

 My crazy cute little boys!
We took the kids for a four wheeler ride the night we got up there but we couldn't go very long because we had to get back and cook dinner.  The kids weren't very happy about that.
Elly in a cool helmet.
 Mason in a helmet.
Tyler had to wear the girl helmet since it was the biggest.  These to boys would have spent all their time ridding four wheelers if we would have let them.
All of us getting ready for a ride. Jay is taking the picture.
We ended up not getting to eat until after dark because we went on the ride so we were a little bit tired.
Our kid would have lasted forever though.

If anyone thinks you can't live on chips alone, Elly is here to prove them wrong.  I think it was about all she ate while we were gone.  If you don't believe me just look at her face.
The next day we took the kids on a long ride.  We packed a lunch and stopped when we found a empty camp site to eat lunch.  After we ate the kids played by the river.  We sent sticks down the river and freed up sticks that were stuck.

Drake was great while we were ridding he just slept and when we stopped he woke up and ate.
Mason pulling faces again at me.
The kids found a log that had fallen across the river and wanted to get to the other side so we helped them with that.  Elly was the only one that was scared at all.
While we were freeing the sticks and sending them down the river Mason slipped and got his pants and shoe all wet so he had to strip for a while to let them dry.
When we got back from our ride the kids spent more time in the river. We found some 2x4's that they used for boats and raced them down the river a little ways before they would have to catch them and bring them back.
This picture is weird because I don't know what happened to Mason's had but it is now where to be found in the picture.
Drake was so good the whole time we were gone.  He took a great nap.
The boys did some shooting with their BB guns.  They could do that forever too.
They are both getting to be pretty good shots too.
Drake got to spend sometime hanging out in his toy.  He is such a happy little boy.
It was so nice to get away from everything and spend some real time with our kids.  I am glad we took them.  They want to go one more time before it gets to cold, so hopefully we can get that done.
