The last Baseball Tournament!

The boys finally had their last baseball tournament.  So far this year they got second place, first place and didn't even place in on tournament.  They have had lots of fun with their team and coaches.  Drake has loved it too.  He loves going in the dug out and getting the boys helmets and wearing them everywhere or finding someones mitt and a ball to play with.
Tyler loves playing first base.  He does a pretty good job there too.
Cute little Drake loves to watch the games too.
Mason up to bat!
Mason on the run to first base.
Mason looked so cute out on the field.  He is so little but he doesn't seem to even notice.  He thinks he is just as big as everyone else.

Drake found more helmets.
The boys ended up winning this tournament.  The played Helper for the championship game.
The kids each got a shirt for winning.  When they called Mason's name he threw his hat on the ground while he was walking out to get his shirt.  It was pretty funny.
Our cute little team.  They were all pretty good with each other, which made it fun to watch them.  They had fun whether they were playing in the sunshine or the rain, which we played in a lot of rain.
We had fun but we are ready for a break from sports so we can enjoy our summer.

A Saturday Tradition

For a few months now the kid have been wanting donuts every Saturday.  Mason is very picky about them too.  They have to be Food Ranch donuts not Stewart's.  They each have their own favorite donut and can easily eat more then one of them.  Mason likes to have a few that he can eat on all day long.  He will get mad at you if you eat his donut, especially if he was saving it for later.
Elly's favorite is chocolate with M&M's on it.
Drake and Tyler both love the plain chocolate ones.  Mason and I love the maple.  Jay will eat any of them.
I am waiting to see how many more weeks of this they can take before they don't want donuts anymore.

Drake!!

I made Drake some macaroni one day for lunch.  I had to leave the room for a minute.  While I was gone I could hear him laughing.  When I came back I found what he thought was so funny.  He had dumped the bowl of Macaroni on his head which still had macaroni in it.  He was all smiles until he realized I wasn't laughing at him and that he was in trouble.
He really didn't like it when it came time to clean him up.  He doesn't really like water as it is, but especially he doesn't like it on his head.
I had Tyler take these pictures for me while I was cleaning Drake up so we would have proof later of the trouble he could make.
I don't think he will do that again anytime soon.

Lava Hot Springs

Since we didn't end up playing baseball today we went to Camille's house last night and went with her to Lava Hot Springs.  We met up with our brother, Rodney, and his wife.  The kids had tons of fun playing in the water and going on the slides.  I forgot to get my camera out except for when Jay was jumping off the high dives.  Jay is on the second platform here.
Jay getting ready to jump.
He did the lower two and now he is going to go off the highest one.  I think he is crazy!
There he goes!!
Still falling!!
Almost there!!
Splash!!
I happened to notice that Tyler and my brother, Ammon, were jumping off the lower diving boards while I was talking pictures of Jay.

We had a great time. The kids had lots of fun.  This was the first time going there for most of them.  It was fun to take my two younger siblings with us.

Fire Cracker Tournamen

Mason joined Tyler's All-star team last week when two of the kids quit.  Mason was very excited.  He is the biggest sports lover ever.  The kid and I went to our Brady reunion in Huntsville the first three days of the week.  We stayed at Candice's house Wednesday night.  We watched the fireworks from a parking lot near her house.  Thursday we headed to Park City to play baseball in the pouring rain.  The kids didn't seem to mind.  It was a good thing we had our tent with us from the reunion so we could use the tarp to put over the dug out so the kids could get out of the rain for a little while.
Candice came to watch the games.  We were suppose to have two games but they wouldn't let us play the second game because we played in the rain the first game.  I felt bad Candice came up for just the one game, which we lost.
The next day they had us play a make up game for the one they wouldn't let us do the night before. We lost that one too but the boys were loving it.
Mason looked so cute in his borrowed uniform.  He loved being a part of the team and the kids were all so good to him.

They decided they were going to call Mason "Uh-huh" because that was all they could ever get him to say to them.
I loved this picture of Tyler just sitting in the dug out just waiting for his turn.
This was Mason in the jersey he borrowed.
The boys didn't end up winning any games while we were at this tournament but they had so much fun and it was good experience for them to play against these big teams.  They never did seem to care that they lost they were just having a good time playing ball together.
