We got to go and visit my family a couple of weeks ago. It was so fun to see them because we haven't seen them since February. It was also nice because Jay let us come back on monday instead of sunday so we got to spend an extra day with them. My sisters family moved back there so it was fun to see them and their very cute new little baby.
We spent the time just visiting and playing games, which is what I love to do. Jay and my brother in law went looking for animals so they had a good time, I am guessing.
The kids had so much fun with there cousins and aunts and uncles. They love seeing the animals and having the whole hill side to play on.
Elly loved the horses and kept walking over to the fence to see them. She loved it when we went out to help feed them.
Sunday after church and dinner the boys wanted everyone to come out and play 21 with them. It was fun for me to see Jay play with them. I am always worried that he is bored when we are there, but he seemed to have fun. The boys all got in on some dunking action.
This is my brother Tenor.
This is my brother Brock.
Tyler and Mason loved it when Jay would make a basket and then let them shoot for him.
They were even able to get my Dad out to play with them. I was the picture taker instead of playing with them and I had to keep Elly out of there way.
She didn't like it that she couldn't be in the pen with the horses.
Mason liked playing basketball with them but then he found this pile of rocks and decided that it was pretty fun so he camped out here for a while playing with them.
Elly loves dogs so she was pretty excited when Tenor brought his dog to where she could play with it. It kept trying to lick her face. It kind of made her nervous until I said, "He's licking you." Then she decided that she should do it to him. Just as she went to lick him he licked her too. It was about the grosest thing I have seen.
Some of the horses that Elly just loved. The boys like to ride on them when they can too.
Mason had fun with his cousin when they got up to the house. Don't they just look like trouble?
Elly and her cousin were pretty cute to watch play. They would just follow each other all over the place and they didn't care how cold it was they wanted to stay outside the whole time. When we did bring them in their hands and faces were so cold, but they didn't even care.
My dad took the kids up to see the baby chickens and he helped them hold them. Elly loved the chickens but wasn't to sure about it when Grandpa tried to get her to hold it.
Mason loved it and wasn't scared at all. Elly dared to get closer when Mason was holding the chicken.
Tyler also held one but he was up there when Jay had come back to the house with the camera.
It was a great weekend and the kids had so much fun playing with everyone.
