Back in January we took the kids out one day to shoot the milk jugs that they had been saving. We filled them with water, packed us some lunch and headed out. It was pretty muddy and a little windy so we had the kids wear their snow clothes.
This is one of the kids favorite things to go and do with their Dad. Each kid got a bunch of turns, even Elly got in on the action.

Elly showed us the pop can that the kids were shooting at instead of the milk jug. She looks a little wild in this picture.
Even Jay had to get in on the action of shooting up the milk jugs.
Elly spent a lot of time playing in the dirt. I thought her hands would get cold but she never said anything. Tyler played with her when it wasn't his turn.
We cooked hot dogs in a little gas grill that we turned into a
grill that uses briquettes. They actually turned out surprisingly good for a hot dog. We also had hot chocolate with it. We had a great time and ended up spending the whole day out their.
