Getting ready for State Wrestling

Our house often has many wrestling matches between these two boys, but we have even more when they know that it is almost time for us to go to State Wrestling.  The boys love to wrestle.  I don't mind as long as they don't hurt each other.
I am surprised that Mason does as well as he does since Tyler is so much bigger than him.

My little Valentine's

This post is a little late.
These are my little Valentine's.  We decided to give them each a balloon and toy car for Valentine's.  Mason loved his so much that it was popped by the end of the day, so his is sitting in his lap.  It was a good thing Elly was nice enough to let him play with hers.  I love these little kids so much and we really do have a lot of fun together.  I love the funny little things that kids say.  The other day while talking to Tyler in the car I told him he was goofy and he says, "Haven't you heard goofy is the new handsome?"  Jay and I had to laugh at that, he had watched "Bedtime stories" a few days before that.  It was pretty funny.

Elly

This little girl is crazy about coats and jackets.  She use to just want to wear them around the house but now that she knows we put them on when we are going some place she is always wanting to have her jacket on and go outside.  When she hears you say, "Lets go"  she is the first one trying to get her coat on and out the door.  She is pretty funny.

My little guy is growing up.

This is the last picture I have of Tyler with all his baby teeth.  His growing up is making me really sad.  It has gone by to fast.  He ofcourse is very excited about it.  This tooth of his has been loose for atleast a month.  I am surprised that it has lasted that long because he played with it all the time.
One night his dad just couldn't take it anymore, he was ready to pull it out.  Tyler let him play with it a little but once it started to hurt he didn't want to do it anymore.  Jay did get one good twist on it though.
This tooth was barely hanging on.
The next day when he came home from school he had a tooth necklace with his tooth inside.  Tyler was so excited to show us.  I asked him how it came out and he still can't tell me.  He just says he was sitting there and then it came out.

So much for him staying my little boy.  I hate that they have to grow up on us.  I love the cheesiers they pull when you ask them to smile.  I guess I did want to see the hole where his tooth use to be.
Tyler was kind of sad the next morning after losing his tooth because the tooth fairy didn't come.  He (Tyler says he is a boy) couldn't find the tooth because it had fallen down in between the mattress and the headboard.  They next night we talked him into putting the tooth on the shelf by his bed so the tooth fairy could find the tooth without having to wake him up.  The tooth fairy did find it the next night, which made Tyler pretty happy the next morning.
(Tyler lost his first tooth on Feb. 10, 2010)

Siblings

It is kind of funny how sibblings can be so nice to each other one minute and no as nice the next.  These two have those days.  I ofcourse love the days when they are nice and have a good time together.
These two always have a good time when my water bottle is involved.  They both loved to blow in the straw and make bubbles and then they laugh and laugh.
I love the moments when kids are nice to each other.

Sick of the Camera?

Do you think Tyler is sick of me taking pictures of him?
I guess he thinks I can't see him.

Winter

Tyler has loved this winter.  We have had so much snow.  It has just been the best winter.  Pretty much every day after Tyler gets home he heads out to play in the snow.
He is definitely my kind of kid.  One of these days we will get out there and build us a snowman.  Every time when we want to something has come up so we couldn't.  You have to have atleast one snowman in your yard during the winter or you just are enjoying it.  I love watching him play he has such an imagination.  He doesn't like it when he catches me watching him.

13 months

I have tried to get pictures of this girl before and I just can't beleive that I keep trying because she is so difficult.  She can't hold still for two seconds.  I am really hoping that once it is warm I can get a decent picture of her outside.
Elly is 13 months old now.  I think that she is just as cute as can be.  I would love it if her hair would grow but I love her all the same.
She was getting a little frustrated with me too.
She did finally sit still for a second but only because she had something in her hands which ofcourse went to her mouth.  Her eyes look really cute though.
This picture would have been pretty good too but Tyler crawled behind her.  She is a funny little girl.  It is funny to see the difference in them and at such a young age.

Oreos!!

My question is who doesn't like to start the morning off with Oreos?  I know that my sister thinks it is a great idea.  Almost every morning you will hear the fridge door open and then the crinckle of the Oreo package opening, which means that Mason is awake and ready to start the day.  He is now getting his little sister liking this idea.  Somedays he is nice and will share it with her, other days he shows it to he-right in her face and then takes it just as she is about to eat it and then other days he will just get her her own.

I do love the days were Mason will share it with her.  They are just so cute.  Isn't the Oreo pretty much everyones favorite cookie?

Bubbles

My boys have always love to have bubbles in there baths.  They love to put on their beards and hats so they can be Santa.  There are so many things to do with a tub full of bubbles.
We decided to give the kids a bubble bath one day, little did we know what was in store for us when we put Elly in the tub.  She was scared to death of the bubbles.  It was really pretty funny.  I have never seen a kid act like that over bubbles.  It took her most of the bath to figure out that they wouldn't hurt her.  The boys were having so much funny with them.  She did finally chill out and enjoy the bubbles with the boys.  The boys and I had a pretty good laugh at her though.
