This last weekend we celebrated our sixth anniversary by taking the kids skiing for probably the last time this season. It was fun because Jay got to go with us. It is normally just the boys and me. We ended up not getting to ski together, Jay and I, since we didn't have someone to watch Elly. So while Jay was getting his stuff I took the boys on two runs and then when he was ready him and Tyler did a few runs. Mason, Elly and I stayed in the Lodge and had some lunch and laughed at Mason. He can entertain anyone. Then Jay and Tyler were ready for some lunch so Mason and I head out to get a run. Mason borrow his cousins skis and up we went. He ended up doing pretty good. The first part was hard for him and I did telling at one point when I was getting frustrated with him that I was going to leave him on the mountain if he didn't listen, but after that he listened and did pretty good. He loved it. When we were almost down the backdoor he started going fast and I asked him where he was going he simply replyed "to hit that jump." He is talking like he has been skiing forever and couldn't believe I didn't know that was what he was doing. I was pretty proud of him. He didn't even cry when he crashed.
That night we played some games with my family. I guess it wasn't anything to exciting for an anniversary, but we had fun just spending some time together as a family and making memories.
It has been a great six years with lots of adventures some not as fun as others but all of them have been worth it. I have a great husband that I love very much and I am so proud of him and all that he does. Thanks for six wonderful years Jay!Happy even after he had crashed. I never did get a picture of all of us up there together.

Fun! I distinctly remember the last time I went skiing. I was with you, Taffy, Heather and Ashlie, 7th or 8th grade, and the night before we had a sleepover at your house. I can't believe that its been that long. Those pictures make me want to head up to Pine Creek again!
Happy Anniversary! That sounds like fun. I wish our kids knew how to ski-what am I saying-I wish I knew how to ski!! I also had some flashbacks by looking at those pictures-I'd like to forget the last time I went skiing there!!
