St. George

Jay had a class in St. George this weekend.  We thought it would be fun to take the kids and spend the weekend.  We were all excited to get out of the cold and wind and spent sometime in the nice warm sunshine.   This was what the weather was like the whole time we were gone.
It was cold and rainy most of the time and the last day we were there it started to snow.  There was about six inches in Cedar City when we were on our way home.  So we didn't do a lot of swimming and we didn't get to take the kids out and do any fun hikes.
We took the kids to a fun center were Mason got these cool teeth.  On the way home he had them in is mouth and fell asleep with them.  I happened to look back at just the right time to get this picture, a few minutes later the took them out.
On the way home we stopped at Kolob Canyon which was pretty cool and would have been fun to walk around at other then all the snow.  We will have to go back there sometime when we can actually spend some time there.  It was really pretty.
The kids loved getting out here.  They had a little snowball fight with Jay.  Drake was very interested in the snow.  Since we didn't get much snow this year he really didn't know what it was.
Our family
Jay wanted to go to Mountain Meadows and see what that was like.  We drove up there but nobody wanted to get out because it was snowing, cold and already covered in snow.  It was a pretty drive though from what we could see.  I guess we will have to try and do this trip some other time when the weather isn't so bad.
