I wish I had a picture to go with this post because I know that we looked pretty funny, but I didn't.
We finally got rain yesturday so all activities had to come indoors. I have had a talk to write all week and can never find the time because everytime that I sit down to do it one of my kids will come up with the cutest face and ask me to play ball with them or ride bikes with them, play a game. This happens often at my home but not all the time. I just felt guilty every time they would ask because I felt they were more important then this talk. So I keep getting taken away from just getting it done. So yesturday I finally got Mason down and thought I would hurry and do it while he was sleeping. As soon as I sat down Elly woke-up which was fine because Jay was happy to take her and play. So I kept working on it, but then Tyler noticed that it was raining and wanted me to go with him to jump on the tramp in the rain. I told him I couldn't because I had to get this talk done. He was sad but went out to play in the rain. After he left I just couldn't help but feel bad because he won't stay little for long and he won't want to play with his mom for long. So finally I felt guilty and I wanted to be out there with him so off I went to be with him. His face was so happy when he saw me come out there. We jump for a while and then he said, "Mom lets hold hands and jump." He about made me cry on hte spot. I was glad I went out there and made a little memory with Tyler yesturday. The talk could wait until today when I finished, but playing in the rain couldn't.

Enjoying our children.
We finally had a nice day where the wind wasn't blowning, at least not for the morning. We all mowed the lawn. The boys had to help and just as we were going out to mow the boys woke Elly up. So Elly even got in on the action. I had to put her in the pack and with one boy on each side of me holding on to the mower we got it done. It took longer then it would have if they would have just let me do it, but they love helping so much that I couldn't tell them no. When that was finished Mason went right to ridding his bike. He loves to get it going as fast as it can down the driveway. So far no crashes that have caused tears. When he does crash he just tells me that it bucked him off and then get back on. I love that he doesn't cry.
This is what Elly had to wear on her bald little head so that she wouldn't get sun burned. I thought she made such a cute little bandana baby that I had to get a picture of her.

A few hours of fun.
The boys were very excited to get to play with their aunt and uncle for a couple of hours this weekend. They played football, baseball, drove the remote control cars, watched a movie and just had a great time playing together. It was fun to have them for the couple of hours that we got them.
Mason is about to tackle her down. That is how he says it.
Tyler and Ammon playing a game that they made up. I guess it was fun because they played it for a while.

Four months old
Elly is four months old now. She is making so much noise now. I really don't think the boys were as loud as she is. The boys have so much fun making her laugh. She is growing up so fast.

Happy Birthday Tyler!
Jay had to go to work early so Tyler wanted us to wake him up so that we could do his birthday before Jay went to work. He didn't know what to think at first because he was so tired from the day before. He didn't get his nap and he went to bed late. It only took a couple of minutes though before it all clicked. He has been needing a bigger bike for awhile, but we were holding out until his birthday.
We were outside ridding bikes by 8:30 and stayed out there for almost two hours. I guess you could say the bike was a hit. We just wanted him to get to enjoy his bike all day.
We did his birthday cake when Jay got home that night. He had a ice cream cake and ofcourse we had to blow the candles out a couple of times. We even let Mason get in on the action. I let Tyler pick what he wanted for dinner since it was his birthday and he ofcourse picked steak, mashed potatoes, corn and stuffing. He is a steak eater.
We also gave him a dry erase book that he can practice his letters on. It is hard so he can even do it in the car when we travel. He was very excited about that. He love to write and asks me how to spell things all the time.

Dying the Easter Eggs.
The boys had a lot of fun dying the Easter eggs. It ended up being about ten thirty at night when we started since we were with Jay's family. Jay seemed to be almost as into it as the boys were. Mason had fun but since it was late he was having a little attitude at times. Over all dying the eggs is always lots of fun. I loved the colors that the eggs turned out.
