Christmas Day

Christmas Day at our house doesn't start very early, yet!  This year the kids got up earlier then they ever have on Christmas day, 7:30.  I love it because then they can be happy all day and we actually get some sleep.  This year when Santa came to our house he wrapped all the presents he brought which he has never done.  It was really nice because I have one kid in my house that just wants to unwrap everything so fast the day would be over in minutes and he wouldn't even know what he opened.  Thank goodness we make them take turns so he can enjoy the present he opened.  I guess they are all that way but one way more then the others.
So here are some pictures from Christmas at our house.
Tyler and Mason aren't normal kids.  They don't ask for all the toys.  They ask for jerseys and sport things.  This year Tyler wanted a Brock Teichert jersey, my brother, Alex Smith and Tom Brady.  Mason wanted and Emery jersey and Dwayne Wade jersey.  I think it is funny, but nice for me since I hate toys all over.
Drake loves wearing hoods.  If he has his coat, jacket or sweater on he will have the hood on about 99% of the time.  It is really cute but really bad when we get places and he takes the hood of because his hair get so crazy.  So for Christmas he got a couple of shirts with hoods on them.  You wouldn't think that was exciting but he loved them and the cowboy hat Jay gave him.
He also love Hersey kisses.  Him and Elly can have a whole bag gone in minutes.  Yes he is trying to get them opened and he wasn't going to wait for help.
Elly wanted everything she could see when we were in the stores but she did think of a few things she really wanted.  She wanted a princess baby...
She has always wanted an umbrella...
and she has wanted one of these for a long time.  So have I because we live in a great place where the kids would have so much fun with it.  This was actually for both Elly and Drake to share.  It is good he doesn't care about driving yet because she doesn't let others drive with out getting mad.
One of the kids gave Drake these Binkies just as a joke because a while ago he started wanting a binky but only for a minute and then he was back to his thumb.  When he opened it and there were two binkies he was so nice to give one to Jay.  He kept wanting Jay to have one off and on throughout the day.  It was pretty funny!
We had a good Christmas and it is always fun to see how kids are going to react.  We did have to make a rule, "the kids couldn't say what the present was before the person opening the present said what it was."  They were ruining the surprise for the person opening it.  I love to see the surprised face so we had to apply this rule.  It was a nice relaxing day and the kids had so much fun.  Thank goodness it doesn't come around again for another whole year!
