On Christmas Eve the kids always get to open a present. It is their pajamas every year and the boys have figured that out so they weren't as excited about opening a present but they still acted happy for me.
From October to the New Year is my favorite time of year. I love putting lights up after Thanksgiving and decorating and doing all the Christmas traditions but this year I had the hardest time even wanting anything to do with Christmas. Thank goodness I have these kids that had really tried to have the Christmas spirit and made me do all the things I didn't feel like doing this year.
