Homecoming
We started out the homecoming week with one of my brothers, #21, football games. They won by along way. The boys had fun doing that. We missed my littlest brothers game that week because Tyler had school pictures the same day and we couldn't make it.
A few of the cousins, my sister and my kids that were there catching candy and watching the parade.
Elly loves to attach all the other kids, especially the ones her size and smaller.
Here is the football team. My brother is #4. We love going to watch him play.
Tyler and Rylee are watching the balloons float away.
Mason and Devan played football most of the time. They tackled each other so many times. They had a great time and played so good together.
Sometimes Mason thinks he is really tough. Here he is trying to get my sister down because she has the ball.
Tyler and my brother.
The homecoming football game can't be complete without holding the streamers for the football team to run through. My boys love doing this. It looks like every kid enjoys this part of the game. They stand there and wait and wait for the boys to come out of the locker room at half time. Then for some reason they think that we need to keep the streamers. Somehow they just have disappeared by the time the game is over.
Mason with four of his cousins.
I loved this picture of Mason. It is so him to me, he always has a ball in his hands.
One thing the kids love to do after the football game is over is play their own game on the field. They had a lot of fun together.

Kids!!!
So the other day the boys were out playing and there is mud everywhere because of that storm. Well when I called them in for dinner this is what I found. There clothes were covered in mud so they were undressing on the steps when I poked my head out to see what they were laughing about. I said to them, "What have you two been doing?"
Tyler and Mason, "We are Indians mom."
I guess that was suppose to explain the mud all over their faces.
You should have seen their bath water. Jay said I should have just hosed them down. I was waiting for him for that one. I get to be the mean one enough.

Crazy Weather
The other day we had the weirdest weather. It was really nice morning, but about three the clouds started to roll in. It started to rain really good. The little boys were loving it. They went and got their hats on so they could play in the rain, for some reason they think you can go out in the rain if you have a hat on. They were having a lot of fun playing across the street when we heard loudest thunder I have ever heard. The boys jumped so high and were back standing by us on the porch so fast. I don't think that I have seen them move that fast.
Jay and I were laughing so hard at them. Mason wouldn't look at me for a picture. Tyler always likes to have his picture taken so he was more than happy to look at me.
The boys had to go and get their puddle boots on because they wanted to splash in all the water we were getting. Since we live at the end of the street all the water comes are way. There was so much water that it was up on the sidewalks. The field across the street turned into a little lake.

Don't you love Sundays?
Don't you just love Sundays? I love it when everyone takes a nap and I can sneak down to my table and just scrap book with no interruptions. Sunday while I was down doing this I thought I would go up and see if Jay and Elly were still watching football or if they had fallen asleep. This was my findings. I love seeing Jay cuddled up with our kids. He is a great dad and I love him. It was nice of him to take her for me so I could have a minute to wind down from.

Stake Temple Day
We had stake temple day today. We went over early and went to a session. In our session was Elder D. Todd Christofferson. He sat by right by jay the whole time. When we were on our way out he came up and shook our hands. It was pretty cool.
Grandpa and Grandma Stilson brought the kids over and took them to do the things that the stake had planned for them to do.
They listened to a story, had a snack and then went on a tour of the temple grounds. We were out by the time they went on the tour so I went with them. Elly got a ride, lucky kid. There was a lot of walking.
They let the kids touch the temple.

Mason pushed Elly the whole time. He even pushed her up the hill. When we were going up he said, "Mom I am slowing down, but I can get her."

Labor Day Weekend
For Labor day weekend we went camping with Jay's brother and his wife's family. The kids loved it. The first day that we were gone it started to hail. It did it for probably 15 to 20 minutes. When the hail stopped it poured on us for almost an hour. We had water running every where. The next morning I discovered a puddle in our tent under our bags. It was fun though. Jay got up early each morning to go hunting with his brother.
Mason and Wade shooting some elk.
Yes, Tyler was dirty the whole time we were gone, but he had so much fun.
Tyler, Mason an Karleigh were pretending to be Ligers. They were rolling around in the dirt and crawling everywhere.
Elly with Bailey, she is a cousin of a cousin. She loved to hold Elly. She is very cute.
The crew of kids that we had with us. I love to camp. The kids just play and play and I don't have to get mad because of the messes that they have made.

8 months old
Wow, I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. Elly is eight months old already and I can hardly believe it. She has grown up so fast. I am not loving how fast time goes.
Well Elly is now 16 lbs. 5 oz. and 27 inches (this is really just for me). I don't think that she has grown in the last month at all. She is still not crawling, which I am loving. She is really fun. She is a very happy baby. She does have a very high and loud scream that I do not love though. She has hair that just stands straight up, the little bit that she actually has.
It was hard to decided what pictures to post because I loved so many so there are a few.

First Day of school
Tyler had his first day on school on Friday, August 28. I have dreaded this day for along time. I am not ready to send my boy off to school. It is a test to see if you have taught them all they need to know. I am scared to see that I have probably failed. I am hoping that he is nice and a good kid.
Tyler has been very excited for school to start. I was hoping that when he found out he had to have four shots so he could go to school that this might make him have a change of heart, but it didn't. He got those done and never even got tears in his eyes. He thought that it was great picking out school clothes. He has just been waiting for this day to come.
So the first day of school arrived and I told him that I might cry when I dropped him off for school. He then tells me I don't need to cry it is only three hours and he will be back and that he has to go to school so that he can get smarter.
Tyler was funny when he was getting dressed he told me that his teacher will probably think that he is a football player because of the shirt he was wearing. We picked that shirt out for when we go and watch my brother play football. He loves this shirt.
Mason was sad when we were walking back out to the car without Tyler. Mason said, "Mom why are we just leaving Tyler?"
