Drake is one year old now. It is hard to believe that year went by so fast. He has been a fun baby. We still had a few of those hard nights, bad days and a month or two where he was pretty hard. Mostly though he has just been so fun to have in our home. The kids love him and are pretty good with him. Elly wants to help more then he likes. Mason is so good to play with him and Tyler is such a good helper with him. It is sad to see him growing up.
Drake is so hard to take pictures of because he is just like Mason, always on the move and doesn't have time to sit still for anything. If he has a ball he will hold still for a minute before he is chasing it around.
Sometimes I have to just be happy with what he will give me when I am trying to get pictures of him.
This is the easiest way to get a picture of him, wait until he has fallen asleep and then he will hold still for me.
At one year old Drake is walking all over the place. He finally decided to try a few days before his birthday and once he tried he was off. He is 19 pounds and full of energy. He can throw a very good fit if he wants too. He loves balls, being outside, splashing water all over when he is in the tub, destroying any open cupboard or drawer and climbing anything he can get up. His favorite things to eat are chili, baby Cheetos, green beans, peas and yogurt. He hates potatoes and bread.
We love you Drake and are having so much fun with you.
